About the author:

Elaine was raised until the age of three in a small town in Pennsylvania, before her family moved to LaSalle, Michigan, just north of the Ohio border. She attended Monroe High School where she studied business. She later took courses in business in college.

Her marriage at a young age sadly ended in divorce, yet gave her four beautiful children. She worked in a factory until her children were grown, then left the factory to begin her own business.

She was again married, this time happily. Her husband joined her in her business until his death in 2005.

Elaine owned and operated Woodland Embroidery in Marion, Michigan. Today Elaine lives in Kentucky and owns and operates American Designs.

Elaine also spends much of her time listening to, and giving encouragement to, others who are going through the same kind of ordeal that she went through.

Testimonies

On the following pages are the stories of friends and fighters who won their battle, and bring hope and faith to you when you need it the most. Their testimonies are brought to you in their own words, along with some of their recommendations, and are grouped as follows: cancer patients, non-cancer patients, and pets.  No claims are made by Elaine Hulliberger as to their accuracy or expectations.

Kathie, who gathers medical records from Protocel users, was of paramount importance in the accumulation of these testimonies. Without her diligence and hard work I don't believe I could have offered so many accounts for you to read. Each of these testimonies are found in the Second Edition of Winning the Battle Against Cancer.

Cancer is a Challenge

Cancer is not just another challenge in life - but a challenge “For Life”. So we need to plan wisely and in most cases quickly.

We have another problem in as much as what each of our bodies are willing to accept. What works for me may not necessarily work for you.

I am new to this disease, having only been diagnosed on 10th May 2006 and I started taking Entelev, which is the Australian name for Protocel®, on 19th July. I have been taking it for around one month now, and my health has improved so much I am no longer taking prescription drugs for my blood pressure, cholesterol and many other health problems. A hand full of pills that used to start my every day has been reduced to just one!

I would like to share with you some things that my wife and I have found out about how to be confident in our approach to fighting my cancer, which is in the pancreas at Stage 4, mass in my liver, stomach arteries and ten other regions as per my C.T. scan diagnosis.

When we received the news about my cancer we were like everyone else. The first week we had to console each other -sometimes when just thinking of the cancer, tears would well up in both our eyes. It was then that we decided to think positive and formulate a fighting plan.

Our Fighting Plan:

The Oncologist did not even want to know me and told my doctor over the phone “Tell Ken to come and see me when he cannot stand the pain any longer”. Consequently I have had no conventional medical treatment whatsoever!

I continued to visit my own doctor of 15 years once a fortnight to get my blood pressure checked and for vitamin B12 injections. He is now totally amazed at my present health, as three months ago he gave me six months to live.

In the beginning I mentioned that everybody’s “body” is different. As in most cases we all have other health problems to contend with. Mine is having had a number of strokes which left me a disabled pensioner at 50 (now 70). My Warfarin (a blood thinner) medication has to be kept stable so as not to cause me to have another stroke.

We started with a Naturopath who refused to consider my overall general health requirements. Needless to say we now have $1000 of supplements stored in a cupboard that we may never use. We soon found this to be a very expensive exercise, brought about by rushing into something we knew absolutely nothing about.

Our Naturopath did however share some very important things that needed to be addressed immediately, such as to detoxify my body and change my diet to a raw green leafy vegetable one. Detoxifying my body - believe me - was one experience that I could have done without, as sitting on the toilet all night just did not excite me in winter time.

Looking back though I believe it did my body a lot of good, as from then on I started to shed the extra weight that I was carrying and I lost around one and a half kilos per week on this diet without even trying (from 110 kilos to 87 kilos in just three months). The reason for the body detox is that our body stores toxins in our body fat and this is just another “Body Product” that cancers can feed on.

Added to this she recommended: no dairy products, no red meat, no white bread or flour, no processed foods of any kind or foods with preservatives added, no soft drinks or alcohol and definitely no sugars or any fats, no fruits that are full of sugar such as bananas and watermelon. All fast foods were definitely a real NO-NO!

She also told us where to buy apricot kernels and to said to take about 30 a day, but what she didn’t tell us was that our body processes these in about 80 minutes, and that they needed to be taken in regular hourly doses. So you see there are many things that you have to find out for yourself.

One very important factor that we have in our favour is by being on the Internet we have many more opportunities than other people, as we were are not totally bound to what conventional medicine dictates for us.

After buying the book “Outsmart Your Cancer” and progressing to Entelev/Protocel®, we were able to read about other people’s cancer testimonials, and now have no doubt whatsoever that we will be one of the “Winners” in beating my cancer.

These are the main things we have found to do:

1. Initially, you have to move quickly away from “Why me, or Oh poor me”. Think positive and be confident that you will outsmart your cancer.

2. You need all the support you can get from your spouse, neighbour, or a good friend. Don’t suffer in silence but be careful of people who want to give you negative input as this can only lead to more stress and you don’t need it. It’s your body and you need to keep your head positive in order to survive.

3. Constantly take it to the Lord in Prayer! I tend to always pray like our “Saviour did on His cross: Loving heavenly Father, if it be possible let this Cup pass from Me”! But not My Will, “Thine Will be Done”, always ending with please “Bless those people that are also praying for me.”

4. I would go for the detox as we also found the weight loss beneficial, along with a diet that you feel your body is most happy with. You can be sure that it will tell you this. I still have two meals a day with raw green leafy veggies on them. For breakfast I have a soft-boiled egg with them for my protein and for a drink I have ginger in lemon juice. For my mid-day meal I alternate between fish (salmon) and chicken. My drink is most times orange juice freshly squeezed. For dinner (as it is winter here in Queensland Australia) I like chicken veggie soup that my wife makes for me. As a drink I have chamomile herbal tea. A small amount of fruit is added to all meals as a side dish. For supper I have Bio-Dynamic Yogurt (no fat) and strawberries to keep my bowels happy. Beverages are made up with two liters of tank water daily, herbal teas and freshly squeezed orange juice. I tried to drink raw veggie juice but my body reacted with vomiting. Added to the above we always endeavor to purchase organic products, and we grow all of our own vegetables.

5. My Lysing. I have found to date that it consists of a rash to my upper body and gas in my bowel. We put the small amount of lysing down to having had the earlier detox!

6. If you decided to start on Entelev/Protocel®, make sure you read the instructions on the bottle and stick to the recommended dose. Taking more only costs you money, and taking less at intermittent times is life threatening! The manufacturers have designed their product for the maximum impact on your cancer so it is advisable to follow their instructions to the letter. With regard to the times to be taken it is every six hours.

7. We did not want to sit up to midnight every night for years so I set the alarm for 4am and I start to take the first one then - so this means 4am, 10am, 4pm and 10pm, which also suits us better for taking on an empty stomach. We have two small 40ml bottles so that we can premix my medication, and we also take these with us when we travel. I fill one of these at 10pm so as I am prepared for my 4am medication before I go to bed at 10pm. We also take our own tank water with us when we know we are going to be away at my medication time, as it has no chemicals added. The manufacturers say to take one quarter of a teaspoon and as we did not get a measure when we purchased our Entelev we have worked it out as 19 drops per 150 mls of water. I like to measure it out into a 20 ml medicine glass with water added, then drink it down, followed by drinking the further 150 mls.

8. With regard to the Entelev supplement Proteolytic Enzymes capsules, I take these three times a day at 9am, 3pm and 9 pm, again on an empty stomach.

9. I decided not to have another CT Scan until I finish the first bottle of Entelev in another two months time. Another suggestion I would like to make is that when you have a CT scan and they measure it, ask them to do a density test on the cancer to see if it is shrinking from the inside. We hope that everyone will be encouraged to continue to “Fight the good Fight”!
