About the author:

Elaine was raised until the age of three in a small town in Pennsylvania, before her family moved to LaSalle, Michigan, just north of the Ohio border. She attended Monroe High School where she studied business. She later took courses in business in college.

Her marriage at a young age sadly ended in divorce, yet gave her four beautiful children. She worked in a factory until her children were grown, then left the factory to begin her own business.

She was again married, this time happily. Her husband joined her in her business until his death in 2005.

Elaine owned and operated Woodland Embroidery in Marion, Michigan. Today Elaine lives in Kentucky and owns and operates American Designs.

Elaine also spends much of her time listening to, and giving encouragement to, others who are going through the same kind of ordeal that she went through.

Testimonies

On the following pages are the stories of friends and fighters who won their battle, and bring hope and faith to you when you need it the most. Their testimonies are brought to you in their own words, along with some of their recommendations, and are grouped as follows: cancer patients, non-cancer patients, and pets.  No claims are made by Elaine Hulliberger as to their accuracy or expectations.

Kathie, who gathers medical records from Protocel users, was of paramount importance in the accumulation of these testimonies. Without her diligence and hard work I don't believe I could have offered so many accounts for you to read. Each of these testimonies are found in the Second Edition of Winning the Battle Against Cancer.

Possible Endometriosis, Virus

At the age of 27 I began having debilitating pain in my lower abdomen and pelvic region. These attacks could last from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, during which I could barely speak or move. The attacks seemed cyclical and generally only happened at certain times of the month. I talked to my OBGYN about my symptoms and he diagnosed me with probably endometriosis, but said it could only be diagnosed for certain with laparoscopic surgery. I said no thanks and went home. I began taking Protocel shortly after, and within about three weeks noticed the pain was less intense. Within about twelve weeks of taking Protocel the pain had disappeared altogether. I continued to take Protocel for about 2 months after the pain subsided, and my symptoms have not returned as of now, nine years later.

My husband had been at an event in a friend’s home on a Thursday evening. Friday morning when he woke he was not feeling well but went to work. Two hours later he decided to come home as he was experiencing joint pain, chills, fever, dizziness, fatigue, nausea and diarrhea. His symptoms were consistent with a stomach virus, possibly H1N1, which was widespread in our community at the time. I began to give him Protocel that morning and every 4 hours during the first day. Saturday morning he was much better and even took our son to the park that afternoon. He even attended a party with me that night as he was virtually symptom free. He continued to take Protocel through Saturday and Sunday and returned to work Monday. The family whose home the party was in also became sick on that Friday with the same symptoms as my husband. They did not recover until the following Tuesday, a ten days after the party.
