Mrs. Audrey Teeling, Massachusetts Epstein Barr Syndrome

In late March of 1988 I began to experience flu-like symptoms, which did not disappear. By the end of the month I was tired all the time, but could not sleep. In addition, I was fearful, depressed, and could not function or think clearly.

On March 31, 1988 I went to the doctor and blood samples were taken. The results came back on April 2, 1988. At that time I was told that my diagnoses was the Epstein Barr Virus. The doctor told me that I had a very serious case as the reading of 5.3 was considered high and mine was 12.1.

The doctors told me that I could no longer do my job as a pre-school teacher, and that I would probably require six months to a year of rest. I should be in complete bed rest until my condition improved. He said there are two kinds of Epstein Barr, one that is acute and usually lasts for six months to a year, and then there is the chronic form.

He was not sure which one I had, although he did indicate it could be the acute form. Since my livelihood was dependent on my working, I turned to Entelev (Protocel®). I had recently heard from my stepmother that it had been reported that Entelev had proven effective in the Epstein Barr Syndrome.

I began to take Entelev, and almost immediately began to experience some relief from my symptoms. By May, I had begun to feel like myself again. I rested as much as I could, but I did not leave my job, and continued to work during this entire time. I took Entelev for approximately six months as a precaution. I continued to be in very good health. I run regularly and have managed to continue to be employed full time without any problems.

It is my belief, that without Entelev, I would not have had this recovery.

Update: July 1, 2009

I am happy to report that I have never felt better in my adult life physically, and have never had a relapse
