In October of 2006 I went for a mammogram and they discovered a small nodule. I then had an ultrasound, which confirmed the mammogram's findings. An appointment was made with a surgeon. The surgeon examined me, but could not feel the nodule. He wanted me to have a biopsy. I did not believe they would find cancer
He sent me to the local hospital for a scan-guided biopsy. The biopsy was preformed, and I was told that it was cancer that needed to be removed. This news was very unsettling because I have enjoyed excellent health and felt fine.
The surgery was performed promptly and the diagnosis that it was cancer was confirmed. I am a widow, my husband passed away when he was only 39 years old from a heart attack. I have five children, the youngest being only 1-1/2 years old a the time. I have raised my children, who are now grown and married, without the help of a father. My children were very upset at the news.
Because I had not seen an oncologist for the surgery, my daughter - who is an Occupational Therapist with a master's degree - insisted that I see an oncologist in Pittsburgh, PA. The doctor in Pittsburgh assured us that everything had been handled properly.
The surgeon who performed the surgery wanted me to have radiation. At the time I did not believe radiation to be a problem, so I had the treatments. I have a friend who was given four months to live and did not take any conventional treatments. He went on Protocel®, and several years later is doing fine.
Because of this I decided to go on Protocel® myself. I have been on Protocel® since first being diagnosed with cancer, and plan to continue taking it. Since this happened, I have done some research and learned, according to doctors, that chemotherapy drugs and radiation cause cancer and do not kill it. It causes cancer to go into remission, and at sometime, it will return in the same place or mutate to another place. If this were to happen today instead of then, I would not take any treatment, and go directly onto Protocel®. I have faith that the Protocel® has erased the cancer, and further tests show there is no cancer.
